We only collect what the app needs to coach you. That includes:

• Account details: your email address and authentication credentials, managed securely by our backend provider.
• Athlete profile: age, sex, height, sport and position, experience and activity level, and your weight goals.
• Training data: workouts, routines, and performance metrics.
• Nutrition & recovery: food logs, water intake, weight logs, and recovery entries.
• Progress photos: any photos you choose to upload, stored in a private storage bucket only you can access.
• Coach messages: your conversations with the in-app AI coach.

We use your data to:

• calculate your calorie, macro, and hydration targets;
• generate workouts and personalized coaching guidance;
• track your streaks, achievements, and progress over time;
• keep your data in sync across your devices.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

When you use the AI coach or AI workout generator, we send a compact, de-identified snapshot of your training data so the AI can give relevant advice. This snapshot includes attributes like your age, sex, height, sport, and training/nutrition aggregates.

We intentionally do not send your name or any direct identifier to the AI. AI requests are also rate-limited and capped to control usage.

Your data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with row-level security, which ensures every account can only read and write its own data. Progress photos live in a private bucket and are served through expiring signed links.

The platform takes automated daily backups for disaster recovery. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we follow current best practices to safeguard your information.

Athlete Forge stores your training, nutrition, and recovery data to coach you. We never sell your data. We only send de-identified training attributes (never your name) to the AI coach. If you are under 18, please use this app with a parent, guardian, or coach's awareness.

You must be at least 13 years old to register on your own. Accounts for users under 18 are treated as minors and flagged for additional protections. We encourage younger athletes to use the app with the awareness of a parent, guardian, or coach.

You are always in control of your data:

• Export: download everything we hold for you as a single JSON file from Settings.
• Deletion: delete your account from Settings. This permanently and verifiably removes your profile, logs, photos, and AI history before your login is removed.
• Access & correction: view and edit your profile and logged data at any time inside the app.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is purged from our database and storage. Backups created before deletion roll off automatically on the backup retention schedule.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
